When it comes to your new home in Fairfield County, let the locals show you around.

Thriving communities. Rolling hills. Picturesque homes. Just a stones-throw from New York City, Fairfield County is filled with beauty and opportunity. It’s home to top school districts, cozy towns brimming with shops and nightlife—and some of the lowest property and income taxes in the tri-state area.

Although there’s something for everyone, finding the right fit can be overwhelming. Trust the guidance of a seasoned real estate agent to help you through the process. Better yet, trust a passionate local.

Front Porch Properties founder Alexandra Friedman left behind New York City’s bright urban lights to embrace quiet nights with her husband and dog in Fairfield County. Since then, she’s applied her real estate savvy to helping her clients buy and sell private homes at incredible prices—and settle into bright futures.

Searching for a home with Front Porch Properties promises personalized attention and local intuition. Whether you’re moving within Fairfield County or leaving the Big Apple, an exciting new life awaits you.

On the buy side, our agents get to know your priorities, price points, desires, and find the listings to match. Unlike many other agencies, we’re by your side at every showing to share interesting quips about the home and surrounding neighborhood—and help you feel comfortable and ready for your move. And we don’t disappear once you’ve closed your purchase. Look to us as your local guides: for landscaping referrals, restaurant recommendations, and anything else you need as you settle into your new home.

If you’re selling, we won’t stop working until we find your ideal buyer—at an excellent price. We start by making your house shine before we activate the listing—contacting local painters and stagers to put everything in place. Then, we run targeted marketing campaigns in the local area and brokerage community to get your listing front and center. We’ll be with you at every showing to point out your home’s best features with a real estate agent’s savvy—and entice shoppers to buy.

Trust an agency that can find what you’re looking for. Get in touch with a Front Porch Properties agent.

About Alex

Change can be overwhelming. That’s why it pays to have a real estate agent who embraces it—even thrives on it.

After spending the better part of a decade helping people find homes in the Big Apple, Alexandra Friedman returned to where her real estate career began: Fairfield County, Connecticut, with her husband and lab/poodle rescue. She currently works with buyers and sellers in Fairfield County and New York City, providing a seamless transition from the city to the plush suburbs.

But it’s not fair to say her real estate career began there. Growing up, Alexandra learned the ropes of the industry from her father, also a real estate broker. This established her strong foundation in real estate, paving the way for her passion.

Whether you’re a first time home buyer or you’ve been around the block a few times, you need a broker who knows what she’s doing. Alexandra has the tools, experience, and connections to ensure a smooth transaction for every buyer and seller. She knows that every home has a story to tell, and she weaves that narrative through eye-catching photos and social media outreach. Her tech savvy and research skills combine to make her an asset in the ever-changing real estate market.

Alexandra drives tirelessly toward her clients’ goals, meticulously responsive in her work. She has no trouble putting herself in the buyer or seller’s shoes because she’s worn those shoes before. She knows exactly what it takes to transition from a busy urban area to a quieter, more comfortable community like Fairfield County.

When you can inject your personal experience into your work, it creates a marriage of precision and passion unmatched by most professionals.
